Saturday morning saw the UV (Year 11) students joined by parents for an information-packed morning giving a real flavour of the opportunities available in the Sixth Form.
After a welcome and introductory talk from Dr Kirk, Ms Holloway, Director of Sixth Form, and Head Girl Khalilah in the Chapel, there was plenty of time to talk with teachers from every department, as well as current UVI (Year 13) students about the experience of A Level study.
Mrs Thomas served a delicious buffet lunch in Florence Dyas House, where Sixth Form girls were on hand once again to give tours of their home-from-home and show off their en-suite study bedrooms and spacious communal areas. There was an excited, warm atmosphere and plenty of positive feedback about the usefulness of the day as the UV begin their transition towards some important decisions about their future.
