On the Tuesday of Donaldson Week, LIV (Year 7) enjoyed a trip to Oxford to explore the world of music and languages. Tabitha shares her experience of the day:

'One of the first morning activities we did was a Gamelan Workshop in the Oxford College of Music. We all sat down at an instrument, and had an explanation of the structure and history behind them. After some practising, we slowly began to handle the new music; we were soon playing Gamelan! Once we had completed a piece, we got the opportunity to try different instruments, and play the gongs! Everybody loved them. We really hope to visit again soon!'
