On Saturday 4th March, 11 pianists competed at the Pangbourne Piano Festival, accompanied by Ms Palfreyman and Mr Joyce.

This was a wonderful opportunity for students to play their repertoire on the truly outstanding instruments that reside at the All-Steinway College and to receive valuable feedback from internationally renowned pianists, Luis Pares and Pamela Chilvers.

Our pianists have returned with a variety of insightful tips and exercises to incorporate into their learning, as well as a good idea of where to aim for next year.

Congratulations to Izzy A, who received a special mention from the adjudicator for her beautiful tone production.
