On Monday 18th September we celebrated AppleFest, a traditional event where the youngest and eldest students work together to pick apples from the St Mary’s orchard.  The fruit is pressed, pasturised and bottled locally, and turned into delicious apple juice that the PGSM will sell with the support of Mrs Hatlapa in the school shop.

This year, we have been blessed with a bumper crop! The LIV and UVI, along with Mr Smyth (Acting Head), Mr Carter (Director of Co-Curriculum), Mrs Muir, Mrs Fossa, Mrs Vodicka and two of our groundsmen, Vern and Callum, picked enough apples to make over 230 bottles of juice.

The attractively bottled juice is due to go on sale in the school shop from w/c 9th October at £5 per bottle.  Kindly email all orders to This email address is being protected from spambots.
