It was a sea of Santas, reindeers, holly, snowflakes, tinsel and glitter on Tuesday at St Mary’s with everyone looking fabulously festive for Christmas Jumper Day, in aid of Save the Children. Such a jolly way to see in the last few days of term!

So far we have raised approximately £650 which will be donated to Save the Children. This charity works across the world to help children who find themselves in need. This includes helping children in danger in war zones, but they also provide basic essentials such as water purification tablets, food parcels, midwives’ birth kits and basic medicines. They also work to provide support and shelter for children and families in need as well as having long term education programs. In the UK, their important work helps families access the right support from medical experts, schools and support agencies but also helps the poorest families stay warm and fed in difficult times.
