At the end of the Summer Term, the Marlborough Literature festival ran their Love books Competition, which asked young people aged 13+ to write a creative review about their favourite book, poem or play, explaining what they love about it. 

Congratulations to two of our students, Guinevere (UV) and Theodora (LV) who were the winner and runner up of the age 13-15 category.

Guinevere won the category with her entertaining and thoughtful piece about Bridget Jones’s Diary and won a prize of £300. Read Guinevere's piece here.

Theodora was the runner up in the same category with her review of The Book Theif and won £100. Read Theodora's piece.
