Last Friday, the Moberly Company Supper took centre stage, and it was a night to remember with a captivating movie-themed extravaganza. The event involved brilliant creativity, camaraderie and delicious treats!

The heart of the evening's festivities came from the theme of 'movies'. Each year group was assigned a specific movie, and this set the theme for the creative costumes. The result? An array of stunning and imaginative costumes that showcased the remarkable effort and thought put into their outfits.

LIV were Minions
MIV were characters from The Wizard of Oz
UIV embodied the wizarding world of Harry Potter
LV went to the swamp with Shrek
UV were St Trinians
LVI's theme was Mean Girls
UVI were all blue as Smurfs

The Burgerlish burger van made a guest appearance, serving up delicious homemade burgers and crispy golden chips.

While awaiting their burgers, the girls enjoyed a series of entertaining activities to pass the time. Pinatas swung about, pass the parcel brought laughter and excitement, and elderflower pong provided a refreshing twist on the traditional party game.

As the night progressed, the festivities shifted gears to a silent disco, a surefire way to get everyone moving and grooving. With three playlists on rotation, there was a musical choice for every taste, ensuring that everyone had something to dance to. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly when It's Raining Men blared from the speakers, prompting a reenactment of the Company Shout masterpiece.

The awards for best costumes went to Claire (UV), Eve (UV), Mr Rose and Mrs Villalobos Ruiz.

The Moberly Company Supper was a resounding success, and it was a testament to the creativity, enthusiasm, and togetherness of the attendees. The commitment to the movie theme, the mouthwatering food, the lively activities, and the infectious dance moves at the silent disco all combined to make it a truly amazing evening that will be remembered by all who were lucky enough to be a part of it.
