Last weekend, a group of SMC girls headed to Rectory Farm, who were hosting two days of NSEA Showjumping.
On the Saturday, Darcy (UIV) and Kitty (MIV) both jumped very well. Darcy managed a great clear and Kitty ended up on four faults.
The second day of competition saw Willa (UIV) jumping two great rounds placing 2nd and 5th in the 85cm and 95cm gaining a qualification for the National Championships.
In the 1.05cm team event, the team consisting of Honor I. (LVI), Elizabeth (UIV) (Individually placed 4th) and Niamh (LV) managed to win the class qualifying them for the National Championships. Niamh also managed a lovely clear in the 1.10m class, placing 2nd and also qualifying as an individual for the National Championships.
Martha (UIV) was competing at Little Gatcombe, completing a lovely test and jumped round the show jumping and cross country very well too.
Kitty (MIV) had a busy weekend also competing at an ODE as well as the NSEA show.
A great weekend for all involved!
