St Mary's Calne
Eleven of our UV Hispanists were invited to Sheldon School in Chippenham last Wednesday to meet with their Argentinian visitors from Northfield School in Buenos Aires.
On a tour of Europe and making several stops in the UK, the pupils prepared and gave an engaging and informative presentation about their school, their daily routine, and key figures from Argentina such as Lionel Messi, and Jorge Luis Borges, the renowned poet, essayist and short-story writer.
All pupils enjoyed the opportunity to have a snack and get to know each other, sharing common interests and practising their language skills.
We look forward to further collaborations with Sheldon and thank them for the opportunity!
