Congratulations to all our students who took part in this year's Bebras UK Computing Challenge. St Mary's pupils have again performed very well, with 22 pupils across the year groups gaining Gold Star ranking, representing the top 10% of students in the UK. This allows them to participate in the Oxford University Computational Challenge in mid-January.

The Bebras UK Computing Challenge is a very popular competition, with just over 117,000 students particpating in the Junior category, 210,000 in the Inters and 38,000 in the Seniors. We are delighted to announce that across the board St Mary's had excellent results, with 31 Merit and 36 Distinctions awarded to our pupils.

A special mention to Jessica (LIV), Heidi (UIV) and Bianca (UV) for being 'Best in School' in their category. Bianca's results ranked her  in the top 1.2% of students in the Senior category in the whole of the UK.
