St Mary's Calne
On Sunday 5th November, we were delighted to host the annual St Mary's Calne Horse Show at the West Wilts Equestrian Centre. The event had fantastic support, with 136 rounds jumped by students from over 25 schools, with all competing in the Eventers Challenge classes, ranging from 70cm to 1m. The course was well built with fences 1-6 being show jumps and fences 8-16 being cross country style jumps.
It was lovely to have Willa R (UIV) and Elizabeth H (UIV) competing for St Mary's Calne. They both rode some beautiful rounds with Willa receiving 3rd Place in the 1m class on her pony, Ashe, qualifying her for the Hickstead Finals in May.
It was a super day for both the competitors and spectators - and wonderful to see so many young people enjoying their riding.
