On Tuesday 10th October, we celebrated World Mental Health Day. This was a lovely opportunity to stop and reflect on our wellbeing and the wellbeing of others within our smaller and wider communities. We focused specifically on positivity and how we can make a real difference to others by showing kindness.
We have started a ‘Pass it on Post-It Challenge’, which gives us all the opportunity to engage in a small act of kindness by passing on a post-it to bring a smile to someone else. From those who have taken part, a name will be selected at random on Friday and they will be the lucky winner of our Wellbeing Goodie Bag.
We are very proud of the community art project that we were able to complete over the weekend. So many of the staff and students have been able to contribute and not only does it look fantastic, but it really exemplifies the significance of community in relation to our wellbeing. Watch the video here.
We also launched our wellbeing team social media. Please do follow us, we aim to make this a lovely space where we can share, celebrate and collaborate all things wellbeing.
