Congratulations to our our team of selected LV and UIV Mandarin pupils who achieved 2nd place among seven competing teams at the online ‘Challenge of China’ workshop, which was hosted by Business Language Champions.
This competition offered students the chance to practise their Mandarin within a business setting. Tasks ranged from creating a Chinese name and slogan for the product to designing leaflets and producing a video commercial aimed at promoting sales in China. Pupils expressed their enthusiasm for the opportunity to apply their linguistic as well as cultural knowledge of Chinese. The event also provided a platform for girls to further enhance their teamwork and leadership skills. Furthermore, it was rewarding to witness participation from learners across various schools.
Congratulations to Addy A, Florence P, Octavia P and Alexandra V (all LV) and Lauren R and Tabitha R (both UIV) for taking part in this challenge.
