The Chinese Cooking Club has been an extremely culturally enriching experience! As well as learning how to make delicious Chinese food, we have also created Chinese dishes that we had never tasted, or heard of, before, which has been fascinating! For anyone interested in trying out something new and have some fun, we recommend joining the club, and we'd love to thank Mrs Mitchell for teaching us how to make pearl meatballs!  LVI Bea Chu

‘Upon popular request, we are pleased to launch Chinese Cooking Club from this term. The club aims to share a range of dishes from the Chinese-speaking communities in the Far East, such as dumplings, Bao buns, slapping noodles, sticky rice ball in syrup soup (tang-yuan) and hot pot. As well as the fun cooking, culture and traditions behind each dish are discussed.’ Mrs Mitchell, Head of Mandarin

Chinese Cooking Club takes place every Wednesday from 1.45pm-2.30pm in the Cookery Room and is by invitation only - priority is given to Mandarin learners. If you would like to join the club, please do message Mrs Mitchell via Teams to express your interest.
