The Equestrian Team Training session held last Sunday was a lovely experience, with 10 girls taking part. The session, led by the skilled instructor Paul Gaff, was marked by a range of instructive exercises conducted on ponies and horses. The focus was primarily on refining the quality of the warm-up routine and enhancing the canter technique during jumps. The girls gained valuable insights and are looking forward to their next training session with Paul.
In a significant achievement over the Christmas holidays, Niamh (LV) and Pippa (UVI) earned coveted spots in the British Eventing Talent Academy. This prestigious academy is committed to nurturing and developing the next generation of talent within the equestrian community. It offers a comprehensive program, encompassing pre-season training, on-event support, and coaching from seasoned riders. They will also benefit from talking to a range of expert practitioners who provide valuable insights into non-ridden aspects of equestrian sports. This commendable accomplishment speaks volumes about the dedication and skill of both Pippa and Niamh, and it opens up exciting opportunities for their continued growth and success in the equestrian world.
