The LIV students had an educational day in London, immersing themselves in a diverse range of experiences at the Goethe Institut and the Science Museum.

The day kicked off at the Goethe Institut, which promotes intercultural cooperation between the UK and Germany with German courses and cultural events. Here, the girls engaged in a lively quiz, testing their knowledge about German-speaking countries. Following this, they enthusiastically participated in a library challenge and delved into an immersive experience of the German language. The girls learned initial conversation starters, expanded their vocabulary, and even tested their pronunciation and singing skills in German.

The cultural exploration continued as the group crossed the road to the Science Museum, where they discovered the stories of scientists who changed the world - linking to the theme of Academic Enrichment Week, 'People who changed the world'. The highlight of the visit was a mesmerizing 3D showing of the film Under the Sea in the IMAX theatre, providing a captivating visual journey into the depths of the ocean.

It was a truly fun-packed day, providing the students with exposure to a myriad of new and exciting things, blending education with enjoyment!
