Last Thursday, our Senior Netball Squad had the privilege of hosting Emma Barrie, a prominent netball player who currently represents Team Bath after having previously played for the Strathclyde Sirens. Emma, who was the youngest player at the 2019 Netball World Cup, conducted an insightful training workshop, enriching our team's skills and techniques.

The afternoon was filled with excitement as Emma introduced our players to a variety of new drills and skills, sharing her expertise and experiences from the international stage. The girls were particularly impressed by Emma's towering stature, standing at an impressive 6'4''. It's noteworthy that despite her remarkable height, the average height of an international netball player is 6'2''.

The session proved to be a fantastic opportunity for our Senior Netball Squad to learn from one of the best in the game. Emma Barrie's visit not only enhanced their understanding of the sport but also inspired them to aim higher and strive for excellence in their netball journey.

We are incredibly grateful to Emma for sharing her time and expertise with us, and we look forward to implementing the valuable lessons learned during this memorable workshop.
