This term has seen the return of our annual Songwriting competition. There was an open brief for genre and style. The entries needed to include a recording and a lyric sheet, and they could be either solo or group performances.

The Music Department have been delighted by the number of entries and the strength of the submissions this year, which made our task in deciding extremely difficult! However, the winner this year is Mia W. (LVI) and the runners up are Yumi O. (MIV) and Lettie F. (LVI). Each of these students receive a signed certificate and Amazon vouchers.

We would like to offer our thanks to all the students who submitted an entry and look forward to next year where we will run a similar event.

Congratulations to those who have won a place, the field was extremely strong, and we look forward to hearing the winning song this year at Founders' Day in the music tent.
