Alex and Octavia's (both LV) Level 2 entry received a 'Commendation' in this year's Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators. This was an impressive achievement given there were over 16,000 entries in this competition!

Fun fact - did you know, that the Mandarin team has participated with huge success in this competition since its launch in 2020 and have managed to win something (at least a commendation) every year?!

Pupils relish the opportunity to apply their linguistic skills as well as cultural appropriacy in this task and feel highly inspired.
