We are delighted to share some fantastic news from the prestigious Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators 2025, where Alexandra V and Octavia P (both UV) were named Area Winners for their outstanding translation work.
This year’s competition saw over 22,000 students participating nationwide, with nearly 5,000 entries carefully judged. The standard of submissions was exceptionally high, making this achievement truly remarkable.
Alexandra and Octavia’s recognition is not only a personal triumph, but also a proud moment for our school community.
I am grateful for the dedication, creativity, and passion shown by our Mandarin students who took part.
