As the school term comes to a close, equestrians Darcy J, Tilly S and Elizabeth H finished on a high with an impressive series of competitive riding performances across showjumping and eventing.
On 15 June, Darcy J (LV) competed at Rectory Farm in both the 90cm and 1m classes. Despite one unlucky pole in the 90cm, she delivered a clear round in the 1m. More recently, on 22 June, Darcy took part in her first Cotswold Cup event on her new pony, Rathcline Dun Shadow. The new partnership impressed with a dressage score of 30.8, a clear showjumping round, and just a couple of time faults on the cross-country course. They finished an excellent 7th of more than 20 competitors.
Tilly S (LVI) continues to build an impressive British Eventing record, with her latest success coming in the Intermediate Novice at Farley Hall. The day began with a composed dressage test scoring 34.8. She then faced her first 1m20 showjumping course, where she had just one pole down. A fast and clear cross-country round secured her another top 10 finish - this time, in 4th place.
Elizabeth H (LV) was also in action at Farley Hall, competing in the 100cm class with her horse, Temple Indigo. The pair achieved a strong dressage score of 34.5, followed by one pole down in showjumping. A bold and efficient cross-country round brought them home on a final score of 38.9, earning them 15th place overall.
