Congratulations to Violet (LVI) on securing a coveted place on Sotheby’s prestigious 'Working in the Arts' programme - an extraordinary achievement that recognises her outstanding potential and passion for art and design.
To gain a place on Sotheby’s Working in the Arts Programme requires not only good fortune but also exceptional potential in terms of the knowledge, flair and skills that this internationally renowned auction house will be looking for.
Competition for places is intense, and it is extremely difficult for even the best of the best graduates in History of Art to gain an internship of this kind – applicants would have been in their hundreds. So, for Violet to have been offered a place whilst in her LVI year at school is remarkable and testimony to her passion for this field.
During the time that she will spend at Sotheby’s, she will learn about all areas of the Sotheby’s business and will certainly be able to put her outstanding visual literacy and natural research ability to very good use.
