Friday 18th November, just before we departed for exeat weekend, senior girls were treated to a showcase by the UVI of their independently researched academic presentations. Taking place in five distinct, themed zones across the Library, ‘Contemporary Issues’, ‘Classics & Literature’, ‘Medicine, Dentistry & Veterinary’, ‘Law, Politics & Ethics’ and ‘History & Politics’.
With the UVI preparing for upcoming university interviews at Oxford, Cambridge, and various Medicine, Veterinary and Dentistry Schools, this was perfect timing to delve back into their subject knowledge and presentation skills, answering audience questions on their areas of developed expertise.
The event also gave LVI and UV the opportunity to look ahead as they develop their own ideas and research projects, and all were inspired by the range and quality of high-level academic content possessed by our most senior girls. We are already looking forward to seeing where the LVI take their ideas next year! Thank you to all involved in the event, and to parents who were able to come along and watch daughters and their peers.
