This summer saw lots of lacrosse action on the international stage with the Women's European Lacrosse Championships in Portugal as well as the World Lacrosse Women's U20 Championships in Hong Kong, with SMC students, past and present, being represented in both tournaments.

The first lacrosse tournament of the season capped off a great week for lacrosse with the U18B team coming away with the Welsh Rally 2nd Team trophy. 

The UVI delighted audiences this week with a special performance of Rapunzel, a show they performed at the world-renowned Edinburgh Festival in the summer.

Last week, an exciting two-day Inter Company Cross Country event for Fourth Form students showcased their athleticism, endurance - and school spirit! 

This week's Sixth Form Lecture featured alumnae Leo Wood and Catherine Pease (both 2000 Leavers) who offered valuable insights into the world of interior design and architecture.

Alumnae returned to Calne for the annual Careers Networking Evening where they engaged with the UV and were highly impressed with the girls' insightful questions and genuine interest in their career journeys.

With the help of Doc F, LIV Helium were delighted to receive their Bunsen burner licenses, allowing them to embark on their upcoming studies of Chemistry.

Congratulations to Flora and Cecily (LV) who sailed at the National Schools Championships Regatta held at Itchenor Sailing Club in Chichester, West Sussex, during the summer holidays, representing St Mary's Calne.
